GATEWAY

GATEWAY is a phygital experience created by Arturo Tedeschi in the occasion of METAWASTE and RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC 2022 - directed by Rossana Orlandi - and part of Fuorisalone Milano 2022. Through the interaction between an “augmented” installation and a digital platform, GATEWAY aims to raise awareness and to educate users on web 3.0 and NFTs, promoting an active participation and understanding of related processes (crypto wallet, gas fee, minting, drop). GATEWAY is a voxel based 3D printed installation, augmented through a generative projection-mapping which adds a digital skin over the physical object. Visitors can become co-creators of the artwork through a mechanism typical of the NFT world, where modules of the 3D printed sculpture have a digital twin collectible in the form of non-fungible token.
